The Home Builders Institute (HBI) Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) program brings hands-on skilled trades training directly into area high schools. It prepares students for careers in the construction industry through certification, internships, and industry partnerships -all at no cost to the school.
Students gain skills in nine trades: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, masonry, landscaping, painting, green building, and building construction technology- giving them a strong foundation for future employment.
