CURRICULUM
The Home Builders Institute (HBI) Pre-Apprenticeship Certificate Training (PACT) program, launched locally in 2023, is transforming how high school students connect with real-world construction careers. The HBI’s award-winning curriculum is one of just three pre-apprenticeship programs recognized by the Department of Labor. PACT combines performance-based learning with skills training and career development to take the future workforce to new heights.
Ohio will need to attract, educate, and train about 100,000 skilled tradespeople in the next few years.
