The construction industry faces a workforce shortage that poses a serious problem to our national economy. The industry needs to attract, educate, and train about 100,000 in Ohio in the next few years alone.

How can Build Trades expand awareness and inspire children to build, use their hands and be creative? With the Let’s Build Blocks student contest!

Participating students will be provided a building blocks kit and must
complete the construction of a house in the time provided.

Students will be judged on the following criteria:

– Were most of the blocks used?
– Did the child build a house?
– Did the child use creativity?

The top 3 winners of the contest receive a monetary gift card.
